About Dwayne Vernon
Dwayne Vernon was born in Virginia and raised in Oklahoma City and Virginia. After graduating from high school in 1981, Dwayne went into the United States Navy to serve his country. Mr. Vernon spent about 10 years with Xerox Corporation as a Human Resource Rep. Leaving private industry he spent 20+ year in the Federal Service retiring in September 2022.
Mr. Vernon began his writing career in 2007, he has written 7 novels since then, two short films. Dwayne was the creator of a short film called “Internet Date” and “Roman Chapter 37”. He is in the process bringing his Novel “Counter Punched” to the big screen.
He is also working on a few other projects which include other films and shorts. Last year 2024, Mr. Vernon wrote a short film, called “Shadows of Doubt” which he entered in the Creative Screenwriting Shoot your Short Screenplay Competition which he made it to the Quarter Finals.

My Man, My Boyz
I loved reading this. The characters were realistic, the plot gripping and I didn't want to put it down. After reading My Man, My Boyz, I have purchased additional books by the author. I have enjoyed it and look forward to reading more of his works.
